   ***   Welcome to CompassArtCreations!!!  Your visit is much obliged!  Take a peek and see what you think.  It's a little different than the normal cgi images you find everywhere on the web.  These designs are generated with a pencil and a compass from a center starting point with a single radius.   They begin in the center and work their way out.  From one design can come many different images.  What lies hiding in the field of circles is for each unique artist to see and bring to life.  Some see more than others,  detail oriented.  Some find a certain flow to the shape or colors of the image their creating making it more of a picture then a pattern.  You will see these and other styles in the gallery.   Most of what has been put together here was originally designed to find something to get children more involved with their creative side without using the computer and programs that allow them to create without drawing something themself.  Particularly kids that enjoy art but lack that natural gift of drawing/painting, pretty much the majority of us.  We tried it out with some 6th and 7th grade art classes with very encouraging results and responses.  We also found that a significant amount of craftee retirees at the local golf course community really enjoyed meandering through the gallery and seemed to take a liking to the idea of trying it themselves. That puts the age bracket in a pretty big spread,  another one of the reasons we dicided we needed to try and make it available to more people on line.  Some of them also wanted to try it for themselves and would if they knew how.  This is why we've decided to offer the coloring book of sketches.  It's for all ages and will give someone an idea of how to do it on their own.  Depending on responses, we may offer one with simpler designs, and an advanced one with more detail in the images.  The book'o'prints will be available for all others interested that just like to look (inexpensive-check products).  It will be printed on the nice over-size stuff, like a big calendar, but better cover...   The images are in a gallery that can continually be updated and added to.  Other artists are welcome and encouraged to participate in this style and submit to gallery if they would like.  All images remain property of original artist (copyright).  If you are more interested in getting started in creating you own images, look for the beginner pack with examples of a few different designs segmented from start to finish.  This can help get the neophyte pointed in the right direction right away.  (includes;  compass, colored pencils, examples, and practice paper)   ***
